Pilates
What is it?
Pilates is designed to elongate, strengthen and restore the body to balance. It places emphasis on strengthening the core which strengthens the body and improves posture. Classes will focus on specific areas individually, whilst using exercises that integrate the whole body to re-educate and restore it to optimum muscular and skeletal function. Many osteopaths, physiotherapists and general practitioners recommend Pilates.
Who will get the most out of this class?
Pilates is a great workout for all ages and physical conditions. It reduces stress, fatigue and tension, while maximising energy and stamina.
