Brandon Run Walk Route
FREE Couch to 5k Beginner Running Course and Social Walks in Brandon
The Brandon Run Walk Route is a sign posted 5km route around Brandon to support running and walking activity. The route start and finish point is outside the Brandon Leisure Centre. To coincide with the launch of the route Abbeycroft Leisure, supported by funding from Forest Heath District Council and Suffolk County Council are offering FREE beginner running sessions and social walks.
Meet at the route start/finish point at Brandon Leisure Centre to join a group walk around the new 5km Brandon route. The friendly, relaxed sessions will be led by a One Life Suffolk Healthwalk volunteer leader on:
- Tuesday 11th July at 10:30am
- Tuesday 18th July at 10:30am

The 5km route will take approximately 1 to 1.5 hours to walk.
Couch to 5k Beginner Running Course:
This course is designed to support the complete novice to learn to run over six sessions. The sessions are fun, friendly and will suit a variety of abilities.
The course starts on Wednesday 6th September at 10am and comprises of six sessions that are one hour in length run each week thereafter. Places are limited to 16 adult participants. The group will meet at the run route Start/Finish point outside the main entrance of Brandon Leisure Centre. Please dress appropriately for the weather and activity and remember to bring a bottle of water with you. Join your instructor for a free tea or coffee at the end of the session at the Brandon Leisure Centre Café.

Discover Moreton Hall Run/Walk Route
The Discover Moreton Hall: Run Walk Route is a sign posted 5km route around Moreton Hall to support running and walking activity. The route start and finish point is adjacent to the Orttewell Road underpass opposite The Coffee House.
The route is marked with small round signs (see images below) that are fixed on existing lamp posts slightly above head height.
